a brief note on the tech of the UH-60L so you can understand this.

The UH-60 Blackhawk has a key. this key is nothing more than a safety device that turns on electrical power so the battery does not spike at any time and cause damage to the aircraft. once the key is in the on position it is removed for flight.....

Yesterday there was a flight from here to a nearby mountain. Prior to the flight there were a few people asking stupid questions at the crew brief. (Evil Flo aparently was awaken at this point) and the brief was repeated four times for the benifit of the morons. The "packs" (passengers) were of limited intelegence and failed to follow some simple instructions so Evil Flo took over. Prior to run up I mentioned to the pilot that I wanted to do "the key drop" and for some reason the pilots had a moment of evilness and they agreed. After the packs had been buckled in and were set for flight the pilots asked for they key. My fellow crew dog produced they key and we started the flight. sure enough one of the packs asked why a helicopter needed a key. I threw a few tech terms to confuse him and it seemed to work. after almost an hour we were at the mountain and at roughly 15k feet. we turned away from the slope and the pilots dumped collective... this means the aircraft fell like a homesick brick. the c-pilot pulled the key right as we started decent and flipped it into the pack area. the key hit one pack in the chest and due to the G-force stuck there. the packs were unable to move and basicly had their arms pinned. at this time evil Flo turned to the packs and started screaming "GIVE ME THE KEY" the pilot looked over her shoulder and started screaming for the key. the pack looked at the key on his chest and tried so hard to reach for it but due to the G's he was unable to. It is very hard to describe the panick he was in or the look on his face. all i can say is it was beyond funny. we fell about 10k feet and pulled pitch.. this brought the aircraft under controll and we leveled out, I could not stop laughing and all the packs but the "key guy" we laughing as well.
