Game Update - September 15th 1am PDT

All EverQuest Live Servers (except Al'Kabor) will be coming down around 1:00 am PDT (PDT is -7 GMT: 2:00am MDT, 3:00am CDT, 4:00am EDT, 8:00am GMT) on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 for a Game Update. The servers are estimated to be down for about 7 hours.
Patch late tonight/early tomorrow morning. Consider yourself warned.

- The groups of Ritualist NPCs in the War of Bloody Kithicor raid will no longer wither the storyline NPCs so long as all the NPCs in that group have aggro on players.

This should be good no?

Seems good. Looks to make the strat be :: 4 groups, aggro the 4 camps and then rest of the dps move from group to group killing them.

Eggszachary. or just a tank and a healer to each camp. Whatever works.

Seems to me that we should continue with our normal routine, but only the camp that is called needs to be agro'd. I do not think it will be beneficial to us to have agro on all 4 camps, those AE's will eat us alive.

I'm assuming everything that's named after an old-school item but with 500-1000 hme is from the new events.

Would love to try some of these out soon, especially if they "need tuning" still...

A lot of that gear is on par with Tier 3 SoD Raid gear. Nice worn effects and clickies. Some stats may even be a little higher. It would definetly be worth looking into the events that drop these tasty treats.

I'd personally prefer to only take on new events after meldrath is locked out.

These instances are bugged right now.

If you try to zone in with a merc, the merc poofs because you don't have any money. *** But you can get money out of the bank after you change forms, I guess. I haven't actually tried one of these things.

If anyone leaves the task/exped, it automatically ends.

You can't add anyone after the task/exped starts because the level differences are bugged (it treats everyone as level 50, and level 85s are too high.)

So I'm guessing we won't try any of these until they've been fixed. They'd be a nightmare to manage.
