brown recluse is tiny, like the size of a black widow, this thing is a monster. I have no idea what type of spider it is, but the clock it is hiding behind is roughly 14 inches across. the spider... i estimate the legs to be 6-8 inches. one of my soldiers here says it is some freak mutant wolfspider. i have seen these back home and the largest was like 3 inch legs. nothing like this THING.

It sorta reminds me of a Camel Spider...but you can tell it isn't one. It is still on the wall. If it was a Camel Spider, it would be flying through the air trying to attack the camera operator. Those things are mean...they will not run away from you, and are very aggressive.

yeah, I have the third pic also, but I was soooo creeped out I didnt want to post it. I know all about the "camel spiders" ... I see someone has spent time in Kabal.

Never been to Kabal. That would be Kuwait for me. Someone there had caught one and had it in a big glass jar. We went over to take a look at it...and it turned around and looked at us. Never saw a spider do that before. Whenever one of us moved, it would turn to follow that person.

Had another guy that stepped on one. Big guy, weighed about 210. Full uniform with combat boots on, stepped on one. He was pretty happy, another dead spider. How could it possibly survive with that much weight on it. He stepped off of it, and it turned around and looked at him. Then it crouched and sprung at him. He told me that he ran away screaming...

Sweet! I love spiders, ever since I was a little kid. Anyhow, that looks like a male Australian Funnel-web spider. Their legs are longer and their abdomens are smaller then the female Funnel-web. Cool looking though! Here's a link to some information about the Funnel-web (if in fact it is one):

*giggles* bah thats nothing to me anymore. try spending the night in a hotel with a spider problem, and the people said it wasnt a bad problem so we decided to stay. picture that wall entirely back but maybe where the spider is just white, yeah there was that many, plus you had the ones on the ceiling and walls, hehe nope no fear of spiders anymore :) but ill give ya credit, hes pretty big.

oooOOoo...:( reminds me of the wolf spiders here, oo i hate them ! There was a spider just like that one, about the size of my hand crawling on my friends roof one night when i was at her house, and one in her garage =/ Those are creepy.

Hmm, Ferios + m80 machine gun and 2000 rounds = the wall that spider is on missing from the house. Actually, for that one I'd have a a-10 thunderbolt taxi up to the side of the house and let go with the gatling gun, just to make sure.

/agree, although the Tritan Intercontinental Ballistic Missle would be my weapon of choice...... Sara teases me but I have this irrational terror of spiders. hehe You should have seen me years ago when Flo was just a baby... I walked out into the frozen planes by Halas... saw a giant wolly spider.... hehe scared the bejeezus out of me.
