Double XP Weekend

In celebration of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend, EverQuest adventurers will be surrounded by a magical experience increase from around 10:00 a.m. PST on Friday, January 15th until around 10:00 a.m. PST on Tuesday, January 19th. Adventurer's efforts will be worth an extra 50% for the weekend!

Let me get this right...

For the birth of Christ, they decide not to give us double xp because it would interfere with them getting more money,

But, for a much less relevant icon, it's ok to give double xp...?

If I where more of a religious person, i'd be canceling my account...

As it is, I'll just fend off folks thinking i'm racist.

wow strost, i'm an non-practicing athiest and i don't see the point. :P

you could have payed money and got the christmas promo like others who were willing to pay cash for it. but giving it to everyone for free at the time wouldn't have been fair to them.

props to sony for giving probably one of the least recognized holidays a bump on account of their public error.

i fail to see how religion would influence any account status in this matter :P
