This is one of my favorate books. When you start reading this book you think"each chapter is a serpate story" but as you go on you realize that they are all intrecatly connected. It's a great character story with each personality that can stand on it's own. I HIGHLY recommend this novel. I could not put it down.

Ok I never been a one too stick to a specific genre but to answer your question Kalthana. Author is David Schickler. Here is a link for it for some reviews on the book. Sorry I could not figure out what genre it is.

From reading the Amazon reviews, I'd guess it would be classed as just "fiction". It's doesn't contain any elements of science fiction or fantasy, and it's a bunch of connected short stories. Some funny, some dark, some sexual.
