Hiyas All:
As i've been without a computer this weekend i'm proud to say I might be the only geek to have finished reading the new 870 page Harry Potter book.
To those who care LOL Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is just as thrilling as the previous books. A lot of battle (which me likes reading  ) and well, needless to say it leaves you hanging as always LOL you just wish you had the next book to know what happens next! *sigh* so, uhm, after three...well two LOL two days of reading < between work and baby :P > I must say all i gotta do is sit and wait for the next movie to come out ... in the meantime, I might try to come back to EQ again since i haven't been online for ages due to RL ... events? well due to my ban LOL.
< hugs >
Oh, i'll post a pic of geeky me dressing up for the two hour countdown party until the midnight release of the book later LOL
:D

Well I have to admit I am one of the Harry Potter fiantics hehe, after having attended one of the release parties (4 hrs of 100 kids screaming in a medium sized space, oh joy) the book fell into my greedy little hands about 12:15 am and I must say it was well worth the wait. I just finished it today and it was up to par with the other 4. Now that it is my kids turn to read it I am looking forward to 870 pages worth of quiet for the rest of the summer ahhh.

I have read all of them at least twice via audio books. It takes 23 cds for HP5 and that translates into around 23 hours of listening.

I read the first four via audiobook when I was doing a lot of driving between the DC area and Fayetteville, NC. (5+ hour trip)
I never finished 5... need to get a copy of that.
