AWSOME idea for new ways of chat....

I just recently ran into Teamspeak 2 which u can find at www.teamspeak.org

While lookin through it i noticed some everquest chats... we could easily start an amichi voice chat channel on the public server 1


Would be a nice way for us to be able to talk to one an another in voice instead of chat.... Just incase any of you are interested im starting it and gonna go idle and hope one of you comes in.....

Even though I can sometimes be the slowest typer around, this is something more suited to limited people. Heh would be funny if people went LD when everyone congratulated a member for being able to loot an item.. well not really.

Nice thought though. I have been on various Roger Wilco channels in the past on other games and definately helps team play. Actually, I beta tested Roger Wilco for a long time. Then they wanted to charge people for it... lost almost everyone so they went back to offering it for free. Not sure where that stands now since that was about 3 years ago.

Roger Wilco is still free I believe, and they even have a FreeBSD binary, but the quality of voice leaves something to be desired. I've tried it on different servers and with different pc's, and everything sounds garbled to me.

Teamspeak is free and if i host it it'll have good quality =P have a nice computer runnin at this end..... lemme know if u want me to start a teamspeak server.... its defanietly possible
