Hiya Everyone. I made it to Rapid City yesterday where I'm staying and went into Sturgis today. I've posted a bunch of the pics I took from today at http://photos.yahoo.com/pedefan
Please let me know if for some reason the link doesn't work.
I've also attached this scratch and sniff Smilie. Just scratch on the smilie and imagine the smell of leather.
:scooter:
I'll be putting pictures up through out the week. Alice Cooper is on Thursday night and Robbie Knievel's jump is on Friday night. I plan on taking plenty of pics from those two events.
See ya all later.

It says " this album is currently empty".
Talk about rapid city and sturgis sure brings back memories. I grew up in Nebraska, 45 minutes from the south dakota border. Folks took us on a week vacation to the Black Hills, Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, etc. My sister and her husband lived Right near sturgis so we checked it out while we were on vacation, but of course it was not during the rally ( My folks at the sturgis rally...not gonna happen). I'd love to go back there sometime, beautiful country.

OK, think I found what was causing the problems.
They are saying that there will be more than 400,000 people that will come out here this year. While Sturgis was busy yeasterday, you were still able to move around some on Main Street, but I was also there during the afternoon. I should have plenty of pics of women wearing next to nothing as the weather is gonna be in the 90's and 100's all week. Guess I won't be in Sturgis much if it's gonna be that hot.

I think the one is of the fireman's bike. I know OC Choppers is here. They've been signing shirts at the HD dealer in Rapid here but it's a wait just to get there. Their shirts are definately the hot thing this year in Sturgis. I bought myself one :)

More pics uploaded from Sturgis tonight. Most of them should please Span and Jard.
The one pic is of the firemans bike. It was in Sturgis only on Sun and I managed to see it. After that, they moved it to the HS dealership in Rapid here. I would go out there and get some pics but that place is an absolute zoo.

There are webcams set up on main street in Sturgis that lets you see what is going on. Not sure how many of you are interested or not, but just thought I would share this.
I put up a couple pics last night from the drive through the hills I took yesterday. Mostly scenery pics but the last one is taken from main street in Deadwood. Gonna be a late one tonight but I will post some pics from the Alice Cooper concert out at the Buffalo Chip.
Take care everyone.

LOL Skal.
Went to Cooper tonight and he was very good. If you like his music, he is worth checking out on this tour. Lot sof stage props and even had his Boa with him.
Too tired to put the pics on tonight, but I will tomorrow. I also have some topless pics and one of a completely naked woman that was walking around Buffalo Chip. If anyone is interested, I will put them up under another Yahoo account name and you can send me a PM to get the address.

One last note from the rally. VH1 was at the Buffalo Chip all week recording the concerts there and will be played on VH1 Classics over Labor Day week-end. The groups that were there were Travis Tritt; 3 Doors Down; Jethro Tull; Tesla w/ Night Ranger; Whitesnake w/ Slaughter, Winger, and Warrant; Alice Cooper; Blue Oyster Cult; and The Yardbirds. Not sure what all will be shown, but I know they were recording the Cooper concert and I'm really looking forward to seeing it again.
