Bring me two lemming furs (foraged from Everfrost LDoN adventures) and one platinum thread, and I will make a lemming fur bag for you.

It's is a 10-slot GIANT container with 25% weight reduction, non lore. It's basically an upgrade to the "Hand made backpack."

Platinum thread is obtained in Thurgadin for 209pp apiece, with good charisma. Yeah, it's kinda expensive, so you have to decide if you want to pay that much for them or not.

I'll also make you as many handmade backpacks as you want, just bring me a HQ skin (bear, rockhopper, and I think cat all work). They're 10 slot giant I think (maybe just large), and 10% weight reduction.

My tailoring is like 164 now, and I have the tinkered skill mod thingy. I know Heikko's is higher, but bring your stuff to me, because I need the skillups!! hehe

198 Tailoring atm. Being an Iksar I am also able to make all of the Iksar cultural robes from LoY such as the Robe of Misery. They are wearable by all int casters, the cultural part is only in the crafting.

Hey, get your own post, buddy!

Just kidding. What do you recommend for me to do at ~164 tailoring to skill up cheaply?

Again, a request for you gents to post a link to your favorite info sites on this topic :)

Nice mention on that last, Heikko. I thought the cultural stuff was only wearable by that race :) This hold true for armor, etc?

Alot of the cultural armor has multiple races on it, like stormreaper steelweave armor is makeable only by halfling tailors but is wearable by halflings, half elves and humans *I think* that worship karana. And I'm still tryin to figure out how halfling's sew metal together...

Since halflings are so short, they're closer to the material, and I think they have really strong fingers.. or something like that.

Info site on this topic (ie tradeskills) was posted in the WELCOME post above. Most tradeskill items can be found there.

They did have a database crash so not all the very recent items are available yet, but most of the stuff from 5 months ago and before is there.

Another good site might be here (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/recipesearch.html) . You just have to search for what you are looking for.

Thanks, but it wasn't just the items :)

Often crafters, being proficient and industrious persons, have found an uber site or three they specifically like for one reason or another, so I always ask someone of that dedication to point me to those that they especially like :)

No point in reinventing the wheel I say.

There usually are one or two good "skilling route" summaries that people have put together that details exactly how to skill up for the cheapest amount possible, or the shortest amount of time (but more expensive.)

However, because of expansions and changes to pricing, these guides become outdated at times.

EQ Trader's Corner is *the best* resource for *ALL TRADESKILLS* because

- There is a section for each skill, with skill guides
- The forums usually have even more skill guides

It is THE place to go for tradeskills. If it didn't exist, someone would have to reinvent it.
