RPG Expert - EverQuest - Tip: Upgrading Pelts Free
This is EXTREMELY useful tip to those tailors who have
a hard time finding a certain quality pelt.. but have
every other pelt under the sun.
Well your problem is solved with this wonderfully easy
and painless quest. The quest does the following..
allows you to take Low or Medium Quality Cat, Bear or
Wolf pelts (ruined pelts do NOT work) - and upgrade
them to one step higher.. you trade in 3 of the same
pelts (for example.. 3 Medium Quality Wolf Pelts) and
you will recieve ONE pelt of the next quality up (so 3
MQ Wolf pelts = 1 High Quality Wolf Pelt).. So now
here is how you do it.
Step 1:
First, you need to have good faction inside Gukta -
because this is where you are headed. So head to Gukta
and bring along all your pelts (or use the bank
there).
Step 2:
Look for the following WANDERING Froglok -- Dar
Forager Lumun -- he also has under his name "(Foraging
Supplies)" After you find this guy hail him to stop
him from wandering.
Step 3:
Trade in your respective pelts, AND MAKE SURE - you
don't trade in different kinds of pelts. You can only
trade in 3 of the SAME pelt (and not ruined pelts) to
recieve a pelt of a higher quality.
Voila! Thats it! So in conclusion, anyone with good
faction inside Gukta can trade in old pelts for better
ones! Hope this is useful!

You can ONLY upgrade bear/wolf/cat and only upgrade to MQ from LQ or HQ from MQ, not to "superb" or "flawless" or any of those other special kinds. And no, Rockhopper doesn't work.
