Now that I finally got my JC up to 250 =) yay! Im trying to make my eyeglass trophie, cept since they nerfed the gem drop rate in Seb, I cannot find Black Sapphires or Jacinth anywhere. Anyone know of a better place to find them? or have any that I can buy off ya? Thanx

Pretty sure I have some black saphires on my alt, not sure about jacinth. Next time I get a chance, I will check and let you know.

Plane of Hate can drop'em, not sure how good the drop rate is though...

i may have some black sapphires, i'll check for you. i have seen jacinth's drop in hate, although rarely. i think that when i needed one for my first marsinger quest, i bought one off of a vendor in cab. i may be mis-remembering this though.

Check out cobalt scar, i leveled my druid there, and they dropped gems like mad, but i cant remember if they were flawed or not

Yeah, jacinths are pretty rare, and they sell very well to vendors, so I would assume buying them from a vendor would be pretty pricey.

Thanks for the info guys =) I've gone around all the vendors in PoK, and SH so far, but no luck. I havent tried CS yet, but Im gonna give that a shot. As for hate....I could that too, I suppose. Its pretty fun there, and Im sure there are some peeps who still need peices for they're epic, so I think that would benefit a few of us.

I used to get quite a few Jacinths and Black Sapphires from the Ulthork tusk hand-ins to the Othmir in Cobalt Scar. Just gets a bit tedious killing the whole of the ulthork population in EW to get then - - 4 tusks/hand in, random gem return. Cant remember off hand which of the Othmir it is, but should be listed somewhere.

Wow EW? *cringe* thanx but I'll pass on that. Since I made that eyeglass, Ive noticed those gems drop abit in addy's. I've collected a handfull of them, and usually dont sell them to the venders if Im looting (but of course give the group money for what it woulda been worth), just cause it was a pain kinda to actually get the gems when i wanted them. not that I'll ever take the time to become a GM at any other skill. I just figured if i had to do one..it would be JC, being a chanter and all.
