It's beautiful, and shows off the smooth animation and graphic lushness of EverQuest 2.

I will definitely be trying this game out.

Graphically superior I grant, but will they fix what they broke? They have issues that the purist hate to see. Skill and abilities shared among classes, lack of seperation of classes, and other issues.

Will they try to fix EQ?

I like the archetype system. Any specific class in an archetype should be able to fill the role of that archetype. It won't be so hard to put a group together.

The death penalty system seems unique, and really, the most important thing, "Is the game fun?" is something everyone has to answer for themselves.

I'll be trying out WoW and Vanguard, as well as other games. The only problem being, I don't seem to have much time to play anything lately.

A bit too early for me to tell how the class trees will pan out. Right now they have this large group called scouts and no matter which class you move your cursor over it says the same thing. To me that isn't class distinction, it is class grouping. Ranger and Assassin both make their living off stealth and secrecy?

I need to wait until I see a little better break down. To me they have grouped a whole bunch of class named character groups and given them all the same overall rating.

Time will tell though. Like I said, it is a bit early yet.

I saw the video and can only say wow! I will give the game a try and I will build a new com for myself. If the game is great looking and a waste then I will simply not play it and have a kick butt computer for regular EQ.

I will not leave EQ for it, least not right away. I just got another year of normal EQ plus a few months were still on my current billing. I have about 15months of EQ from this post before I have to decide if I wish to rebill.
