I took some time today and started from scratch with a new forum/site style. Anyone allergic to the color blue, please see a doctor before attempting to use the site for extended periods.

Please let me know what you think.

However, two points I'd like to express;

1. Yes, I know it's blue. I like blue.

2. Yes, I am aware of a lot of icons that are designed for a light or white background. I will be updating the icons slowly as I find the time to do the graphics work.

PLEASE let me know if anything is broken or difficult to read because of color contrast.

It's really a shame that this software isn't free, yet the only icons that came with the board only seem to support a light background. I think it's pretty cheesy, and a lot of other Vbulletin customers agree, based on the numerous complaints on their website.

Perhaps change the icons to have a transparent background? Probably a lot of work. Wonder if ImageMagick has a way of doing that...

Saw it a few days ago as blue... it looked real sharp minus the buttons designed for light backgrounds. You said you would get to them, so... what happened to the blue? Just /rewind until you get the buttons fixed?

Well, I had installed a different portal (a free one) that was somewhat lacking in features. Ramsus had already purchased (out of his pocket) another one called (as you can see above) vBPortal, which was supposed to be the nicest of them, with lots of features.

Well, I installed it and discovered that the software was still somewhat in beta, and the installation process required installing it with a barebones skin.

When I have an hour to sit down and copy the old style over, I'll do that, and things will look like they did before (blue).

Just have some patience, been having a lot of stuff crop up for work (no more developing for the website during the day instead of working :) ) and in RL.

Hey K2, everything looks good but possibly put back the "click on a person avatar and look up there Magelo" when you have a chance? Unless you had something else in mind for that.
