Repairman Jack returns again in Crisscross. This time he has two "fix-its" to work on. The first one, he's hired by a nun who is being blackmailed by someone who Jack has had a previous run in with. For his second fix-it, he is hired by an elderly lady who's son has joined a powerful "church" and refused to get in contact with his mother.

Being a huge F Paul Wilson fan, I was not disappointed with this book. I honestly feel it's one of the best Repairman Jack books yet. The only draw-back to this is that it each consecutive book draws Jack closer and closer to the Adversary Cycle that Mr Wilson wrote, which means that to someone just picking up the book out of the blue truely won't understand just exactly is happening in Jack's life unless they've read the other books.

Toward's the end of this book, Jack goes into a "Black Rage" and reveals a very dark side to him. Anyone who's read his books before knows that this side is there, but this is truely the first time you see the full extent of it.

This book right now is in it's first printing and is only available to from the publisher (unless they've released copies to some of the internet sites). The mass market publishing of this book will be released in the Oct/Nov timeframe. I honestly would recommend this book to anyone and at the same time any other RJ or Adversary Cycle books. They are truely great books and well worth the time.
