I am intrested in Amichi on EQ2

It will be a while still I want to raise the cash for a guildhouse.

If it becomes so all I want in it is eq1 swap overs and their real life friends. many guilds that have come over have opened the floodgates...I dont want that. this will make it a small guild but a guild of friends and dependables.

A problem we are having on eq2 is mutuality, we need a place to come together.

I havent joined a guild here yet and I wont, this is what I want.

Post with how you feel about this. If u all are intrested Ill start getting it together.

We will need officers to hadle different functions of support let me know if you want to help.

I would be interested with a few conditions (assuming agreements from current officers and all that)

my play time is kinda weird - im on a GMT / EST travel schedule for some considerable time. Depending on jetlag I might be away for a few days sleeping.

I am committed (if that is the right word) to both eq1 and eq2. Raids would take priority in EQ1.

I agree that the formation of a guild as a place to congregate is a good idea. Although eq2 is my "solo" game for the moment, I would love the opportunity to duo and group with people who know what they are doing. The lamer population in EQ2 is stilll rather high.

Even for tradeskilling, the formation of a guild is a huge advantage. The interdependance on trades to supply each other with components and the ability to sell excellent gear for high profits increasing the power of the guild is a no brainer. The earlier we start the higher the profile / status of the guild.

I myself would love to see an Amichi Guild in EQ2. as has already been stated it would be great to have a place to find good dependable friends to group/duo with.

Need 6 for a guild start.

The only way to get status points is to be in a guild. Status points are used for buying items from a "status point" merchant, these are items that are not available to non guilded players.
Guilds have 2 types of members, followers and patrons. both can earn status by completing soloable writ tasks obtained from npcs in the main city. Followers can not spend points at merchants and do not contribute to guild exp. Patrons can purchase from status merchants and can build guild exp. The experience you earn towards the guild for "guild exp" is divided by the number of patrons in guild. Needless to say big guilds arent desireable in EQ2.

If a guild has less than 12 members (not sure if this is followers and patrons but am assuming just patrons) there is a exp penalty for the simple reason a group of 6 could wrack guild level up very fast.

There is no need for us to have a bunch of folks to start up, would probably even be better with a smaller number.

All 6 people have to be logged in and grouped to initiate a guild.

I have no intent to raid in eq2 so there would be no conflict, everything is solo or small group attainable for raising the guild level.

It seems we have 4 here including me and I have a RL friend who works with me that plays very well, played eq1 and is now in eq2, that is intrested as well, we would need 1 more besides us to start.

cool i just hit 30 hopefully we will be able to group. If you can get to 25 by then ill help you get Zek and EL access quests done.

The last patch really screwed up tradehall quests went from gettin 11 gold a quest to 11 silver a quest... 1/100 of what it was ...really lame. They made high sat food/drink 25 percent more effective and lowered store bought / summoned by 50 percent though. ill have a few stack of 30 stuff for you when i see u in game again.

All armor being attunable sucks bad too cant believe they did that...good i guess if you an outfitter.

sent ramsus a personal tell about a week ago about makin a guild in eq2 and he hasnt answered it yet ...we might have to just make a small guild of a diffrent name in the mean time.

Look forward to seein you again =)

The attuneable armor was quite a surprise, especially as I decided to take on 3 orange con solo mobs straight off the bat....i couldn't understand where my power went, and how they hit me so hard, then I noticed I was doing no crush damage. Amazingly, I beat them, attuned everything and think I am a little way overpowered now. Have not had much time to play but did make it to 23. Achieving level 25 should be ok by next Friday, but you will probably be 32 by then :-P

My food is running out, but my armor is still orange (mostly) til at least 25 for most of it. Have done no tradeskilling for 2 weeks as the fun of soloing has been too high.

Ramsus is in WoW I think when he is not in EQ.

Exploring the guild concept will be fun. Hopefully we can get warrl and tray online to get it started up. Even if it is not amichi, it will be good practice....but it would be cool to start up the amichi name, because I am sure a few others would move their toons into it whether they play them regularly or not.

Cat, Warri, Tray log in at 7 am EST on sunday (9pm my time) and we can start guild..i have 2 RL friends that can join in with us. Will use the Amichi name unless ramsus answers me and says no in the mean time, have had a personnel into him for over a week, i dont think there will be a problem with it unless we invite people not in guild or RL friends and i dont plan on doing that.

Tell if this doesnt work for you and Ill pick a diffrent time.

If there is any other players in EQ2 that can join us at this time please post.

Use of the Amichi name there should be fine. I don't really see how it could be an issue unless you guys totally lose your minds over there and get 10000 people coming here to complain about you..

Let me know and I will set up an eq2.amichi.us domain for ya.

I will try and be there...will be noon GMT, but my eyes will be saying 7am.

I was getting worried when I didn't see Thefoodguy on that some GM had wondered how you levelled from 0 to 40 in a month in tradeskills :-P

I need food too....
I'm partly kidding...but it will be nice to have a small knowledgeable bunch who can share some stuff. Weazel just dinged 24, partly because I was finishing the Bark like a Gnoll quest and slaying greys and named greens in BB for the last few nights. On the plus side, I found a named mob that would pop almost every 20 mins, and drop a chest every time. Farmed him til my eyes bled, and made 10 gold (and rising) on the trader from armor and spell drops. Another interesting thing I found was that I could zone from BB into Antonica and spawn him, then zone back into BB and zone into Antonica 2 and spawn him again, rinse repeat. For the most part I had him up in both zones at the same time, 2 to 3% a kill. On busy server days when they have three Antonica instances going, it would be a sweet camp for sure.

As for the offer of a new domain that is an amazing generous offer Rams. It would certainly make me feel like I am still part of everything (although I would still emphasize that I have no intentions of leaving eq1).

Bucko - please tell me you are still level 30.......I think I need to be 25 to group?

I am going to try and be there with Jardean my soon to be druid, and if it is ok I am planning on bringing my GF with me. I am still focused on EQ1 at so I will only be on EQ2 when I have only a little time or I am tired of LFG. But I would still like to be guilded, especially with folks I know.

Sounds good, we will have more than enough to start, and yes Jard bring your woman. We will need to meet in North Qeynos

EDIT< Make that Qeynos Harbor to form guild...I have the quest already just need to form group, if 6 of you dont come on fast I will pay a couple newbs to join group to form guild then boot them out of guild...apparently you can do that and have a guild of one person if you wanted to.>

You all decide by time investment into guild that you want to put forth whether you want to be a patron or a follower. Agian the experience each person gets toward guild will be divided by the total number of patrons before it is applied toward guild level.
The way I understand it Guild can lose a level if a patron with alot of status leaves or when a new member with no status is flagged as a patron, Although level can go up if a follower with alot of status becomes a patron.
As a follower you can still do status work and at the time you decide to become a patron all can be used toward guild exp / status merchants,
so if any of us have a main or an alt that isnt going to do much status work then it will be best for us to make them followers for now.
