Well, the armor dye page has been posted over at SOE's Legacy of Ykesha site.
Read it here (http://www.legacyofykesha.com/f_armordyes.jsp)
It seems very contrived. You apply dyes to an armor slot, and everything you wear in that slot is dyed that color? That's crazy-lame. It's so unrealistic as to be a joke. Anyone can have any armor any color and switch them out at any time. To do so, you have to use a "gem" of some sort as a reagent.

On one hand I think it sounds retarded, people don't have to work for their perfect outfits anymore, sacrificing stats for vanity. If that's the way it works, I can make my elysian pants green to match the tov gear , or make it all red. On the other hand, it'd be fun to dress yourself up without sacrificing stats, for the non-vain people that just wanna have some fun with it.
summary: people will go for stats instead of looks, so if you have some armor that sells well due to looks and has crappy stats, get rid of it now.

Well, consider also that the tinting is coloring *in addition to* the color that's already on your armor.
So, some armors that are already colored will probably not be able to be "untinted" (ie, bleached).
So lighter colors will probably be the rarer ones.

If it would let me change the colour of that gay ass pink robe from Acrylia then I'm all for it!
