OK, Casi and I just finished watching season 4 of Alias last night. Ok, so Irina isn't dead, she's back in the wild. Sark is free. Elena is dead. Nadia is a zombie. Jack miraculously recovered from fatal radiation exposure because of a doctor he put in protective relocation. Weiss and Nadia are an item. Sloane was arrested, but Sydney was able to get him a visit with Nadia. Marvin Sloane went bonkers, his personality fractured by the "brain wave memories" or whatever they shot into his brain (totally science fiction; if this were possible, you could find one zealot and copy him a million times and take over the world).
Lots of really cool gadgets were invented or discovered or destroyed just in time.
So, then we find out at the last second that Vaughn isn't who he says he was. He used to maybe be a bad guy. Is he talking about the work he did for the guys who had information on his father? I don't think it's related, because he wouldn't have brought that up at the same time as he brought up the fact that his name wasn't Vaughn.
Ok, so he isn't Vaughn. So, that could mean two things. He replaced Bill Vaughn's kid for some reason. He's some kind of double agent. That, or he and his dad were BOTH fakes, otherwise his urgent search for his father wouldn't make sense... unless he is searching for Bill Vaughn for some nefarious reason(s).
