Trade Skilling the Cheap way.

As alot of you know trade skilling at 200+ gets pricey and time consuming. So decided to post a few thoughts of my own and what I did to get some skills up at a low cost and low time and get in more LFG time. Others in the guild might have faster shortcuts and I hope they post as well. Would love to see that artisan charm on more guild peeps.

STEP 1: Get your @$$ to the Abysmal Sea and do the trade skill tasks. They are free and get you to base of 30 in the core tradeskills.

STEP 2: Batwing Crunchies. Combine the following in guildhall oven or one in the tradeskill buildings in POK. Trivials at trade skill of 46. Keep left over batwings!!

Batwing ( 1sp ) + Frosting ( 9cp )

STEP 3: Fish Rolls. Combine the following in guidlhall oven or one in the tradeskill buildings in POK. Trivials at trade skill of 135.

Batwings (1sp ) + Fresh Fish ( 3sp )

STEP 4: Patty Melts. I did this in Abysmal Sea as vendors side by side had all the stuff as well as an oven right there. Trivials at trade skill of 191. Can use any of the following 3 meats: Bear ( 8sp ), Lion ( 8sp ), Wolf ( 8sp ) and you will need a non stick frying pan. Guildies will most likely have and let borrow. The frying pan is returned with each combine.

Meat ( 8sp ) + Cheese ( 2sp ) + Loaf of bread ( 2sp ) + non stick frying pan.

As a few of you know now, the Spider Silk Filter (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/recipe.html?recipe=8814) quest is probably the cheapest way to get tailoring to 190. As it is a camp, you will actually make money (1500pp an hour) although there is no experience. With the caves, the mountains over the top of the caves (5) the plain under the mountain near the Dragon and then the area round the Potameids, there are close to 30 spiders to kill in 15 to 20 mins. There is a vendor in the Minohten camp (3 actually) where you can sell and pick up silks and spinnerettes.

If you are adventurous, kill all the animals (bears and wolfs) close by and the spiderlings which spawn from the dead spiders and make Leather padding as you run around.

Make sure you carry your sewing kit and a skinnng knife!
