What do you all think of the game so far? I know there is a beta agreement and you cannot tell much detail, but I would hate to use a key some one else could use.

Look on one of the slips they gave you, it gives the website. Create an account, and sign up for beta using one of the keys.

Get a beta key and web address from Casia, Rams, K2, Clo, Dreggo,Larps, Wray or Me. Well dont bother me asking til i figure it out but they have done so! After I figure it out (in a few weeks) I have a ton of keys.

It's still in beta, so if you get in, you use the beta server.

It takes a few days for them to respond. The other thing you can do is check the boards, sometimes it updates faster than the emails are sent.

Been a week now but maybe they are just slowwwwwwww. I cant seem to locate anymore keys other than the few I have already sent out. I know some folks had 5plus so send em on.

They're doing some kind of big update/patch/having a lot of downtime today, plus a lot of them were at GenCon this past weekend.

Keep checking back to the potbs forums and beta app page.

For those that do not know how to check the site:

You go the the front page and click the sign up for beta tab.

It will give you the NDA when you are accepted.

Then you will get an Email with the user/pass to download the game.

You use the user/pass to download the game.

Then you patch the 3.7gig file after that.

Then you play!

My pirate is Gottikets Totheloot. I am an executive so can invite you if I am on. The way you send a tell in the game is /tell Gottikets Totheloot, Hi this is so and so invite me damnit. or something like that :P

Gotta have the comma after the full name.

The cool part is, once you know someone's pirate name, you can invite them to the guild, and they don't even have to be on. They will get the invite when they log in. That is why I asked for folks to post their pirate names here.
