As many of you know I have been making AAAA boxes free for guildees since we broke into Demi. With our recent kill rate increasing and Last Bloods and Bazu's dropping like rain, I am again running out of critical supplies.

If anyone is able to hang onto the following items it would be appreciated:

Shiliskin Bones (any Shiliskin model NPC in DoDH)
Innovative Clockwork Gears (POI)
Coiled Springs (POI)
Tiny Clockwork Shaft (any Gnome clockwork model)
Clockwork Pinion Gear (any Gnome clockwork model)
Clockwork Gnome Bolts (Gnome clockwork models)

Please put the above in the Guild Bank if you happen across them

There's a ton of bolts in the baz too, but they're at least 100p apiece. Depending how many you need, that could be a bargain, I dunno.

I have 100 bolts myself - enough for 20 boxes with no failures - and I normally keep an eye out on vendors for them at 18pp. No real panics on those yet.

After last night's success I am having to rethink the manufacturing process for AAAA boxes. At the rate we are looting Last Bloods and Bazu Stones, it is becomming a full time job to keep up.

I have talked to a few other guilds about how they handle this - and the suggestions below seem to make a lot of sense.

1. The longest step in the manufacturing process is producing the Blocks of High Quality Steel. These are trivial to make (42 in Smithing) therefore it will improve manufacturing efficency greatly if anyone wanting a AAAA box if they provide these Blocks. This will remove a huge headache and roadblock. You will need to provide 60 Blocks.
2. I go through Blue Diamonds, Diamonds, Rubies and Emeralds like nothing. It would help if people start saving these and putting them in the Guild bank. For example, one box uses 21 Rubies. If you do not want to save "vendor" gems in the Guild Bank then I can understand that. Most of the gems are turned into Indicators. This requires a JC skill of 202 and also Vials of Purified Mana from an Enchanter. It would help greatly if stacks of these indicators are kept in the Guild Bank.

To keep things simple - I would like to leave the above two items as the only changes at present.

The impact on you is as follows:

1. Effective immediately, if you want an AAAA box making and you have not already talked to me, I will make them when you present 60 Blocks of High Quality Steel.
2. I would like an Enchanter to volunteer their time to keep the Guild Bank stocked with Blue, Green, Red and Clear Indicators.

You can find all the recipes on EQ Traders. The Enchanter volunteer can negotiate with any of the Officers how best to handle the Indicators.

We will be seeing Last Blood Stones, Bazu Stones, Serpent Stones and Sunshard Stones for the next year or two. They make armor which is close to the best in the game (even if it suffers from an upcoming nerf). I would like everyone in the guild to have a chance at wearing some and hopefully these changes will encourage that.

I will fully support you Cat in anyway I can. I have max all tradeskills. I have access to a chanter as you know, I did some combines for you last night.

In order for a Last Blood Aug you need the following items:
Mechanoinstructions of the type you want - This decides the aug
Last Blood - Raid Loot
Last Blood Seal - Can get from me.
Epicthieck's Lubricating Goo - Can get from me.
You combine these in the AAAA box. - Currently Cat with his requirements.

For the guild. This is not an unreasonable request. If you can't make the 60 blocks yourself, give someone the money for the metal and ask them to help you out. This weight should not be on the shoulders of one person.

Licasia and I have been busy making parchments and ink for the mechanoinstruction. I also have been handing out seals on request and goo also.

What this means is in order to get you Mechanoinstructions you may or may not need the tablet. Licasia has quite a few tablets. Check with her for availability.

Aye, and many thanks for that. Casi hands them to me and I make them into parchments and give them back. Because that is a 2 combine and it has a high chance of failure, even though I have max skill in all tradeskills + Tropheys + Salvage 3 + All Mastery AA. I did 28 combines and suceeded 22 times which equals 11 parchments.

I had no idea what went into making this so I looked it up on EQtraders al I can say is wow. I had no idea what this kind of thing took. I must say thank you very much Cat and any others that offer to help with this endeavor. There sure is a lot of combines and over all cost in order to make these augs. I am going to try and make a list for myself so I remember what things I need to save for this effort. I don't have any augs as of yet but hope to some day. Whether I get one or not the benifit they provide to the guild is enough reason to save as much stuff to help make these as I can.

There is no reason to have more than a stack of anything that I have listed on the previous pages or below.

If the stacks are marked for me, then I can take what I need whenever a Last Blood/Bazu etc drops. Short stacks would also be an indicator to anyone to spend 5 minutes in their downtime gathering or looking for top up supplies.

I have almost 50 diamonds in my bank. After reading this post last night I spent 10k and bought a bunch off the vendor in GL. I will put them in the GB. I was gonna try and help make a bunch of the indicators but I don't have the required skills so was gonna borrow others toons. Since NW was nice enough to do the indicators I will just collect what I can to help.

Keeping these items in the guild bank is both a good and bad idea. Good because Cat can get to them easily and make whatever is needed. Bad because there is a lot of junk in the bank that nobody is taking out and the bank keeps filling up fast.

There are people who are putting low level items in the bank, that nobody obviously wants, or that could be bought cheaply from the bazaar. People run out of room in their own bank and throw stuff in the guild bank. It fills up quick and clo and I are trying to keep it cleaned out.

If you have anything in the bank with your name on it, with the exclusion of Cat, please remove it. If you have low level spells that you looted, please don't put them in the bank. If you have low level tradeskill stuff that someone "might" want, don't put it in the bank. You can always put a post up here offering it, if someone wants it, they can ask for it.

I created a char just to store all the tablets that folks threw in the bank. If need be, I can store stuff on her for Cat. Just let me know. But if we can't keep the junk out of the bank, then storing the AAAA stuff there won't be feasible.

Just made 10 BLUE,GREEN,CLEAR, and 9 RED indicators. With only one failure total. The cost was 32,976pp for those.

For people interested. If people throw ruby, diamond, blue diamonds in the bank, and i didn't have to buy any. It would have cost 4508pp. As you can see the HUGE difference in cost. We aren't asking you to save 10 slots in your inventory, only 3.

To make 10 of each type of indicator it costs 23k in rubies alone.

You mentioned this the other day and I edit thought I edit :( picked up one off vendor diving. There are about 4-6 really popular ones and rare ones. This is one of them. I am just waiting to see you on Casi and will hand it off along with some prepared parchements for the instructions. I was farming for slime and picked up 4 bile too so made them really quick. Hehe I think I still have a stack of shroom skin on a mule.

I was alarmed over the weekend when I didn't see any dragon eggs at all on the /bazaar. Usually rangers/druids have stacks for sale. Any item that is forage only is a pita to get anytime. The going price for these eggs, over the years, was a steady 100 plats if you see any for less grab em. I am thinking of planting my ranger mule in WW as a foraging bot when I log in and log off for the day. Hey I got 3 stacks of air-infused water this way.

UPDATE:

The revised production process is working very well. Most people are getting their LB's turned around pretty quickly - at least as fast as we are looting them anyway.

The Guild Bank process is not rocket science and all of you need to pay a little more attention before you go dumping your supplies into it. There is no need for you to donate materials in excess of one stack - go ahead and sell them.

There is a placeholder with my name next to it for each of the lootable items required. For the most part, you can assume 1 of each item is required per box. I am trying to run down my own inventory as I had materials spread across 2 toons.

WHEN WE REACH ONE ITEM LEFT IT IS SAFE TO ASSUME THAT PRODUCTION WILL GRIND TO A HALT.

We are currently out of Innovative Clockwork Gears. We are extremely low on Shadowmane Pelts. As of today, I will be unable to make any more boxes until supplies pick up again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
