Assasin's Creed

Ok, so this game (see Title) is for Xbox 360, but I found it for PC and I didn't even realize you could buy a regular Xbox 360 controller and hook it up via usb to your computer and it actually recognize it.

So, while I haven't bought an x-box 360 yet due to prices and the possibility that my wife my slit my throat similar to one of the action sequences in this game, I think will start sneaking in a game or two for the PC.

Does anybody else have exp doing this? Do all the mechanics of the controller work? Like push sensitive buttons and analog triggers etc. Are the game mechanics as good? I want to know it all! Also, before I spend $45 on the game, has anyone played Assasin's Creed on PC or 360?

Played it on the 360...
Ppl gave it bad reviews because they said it was linear. But imo, you do the little side quests, find the flags, etc etc and it's really fun.
Good learning curve, goes up nice and easy so you're not overwhelmed. Great graphics and lots to see. Good story too.

I played AC for about an hour or two. I'm not sure exactly why I didn't like it, but something about it irritated me and I stopped playing.
