Best FOOTBALL franchise...maybe...best team in everything hardly close. For instance NY Yankees have over 25 World Series and I don't think they are the best team ever either. When Pitt gets close to that many Super Bowls then we can start talking. Also Green Bay still has more championship wins, 9, I believe.

Pfft...the yankees are the embodiment of satan, they don't count. And GB's championships were mostly back before the merger, so that doesn't count either =P

Regardless of who you rooted for, that was an exciting last 10 minutes.

O ya. I think that may have been the most exciting finish to a Super Bowl ever. I feel bad because I was yelling so loud at the television and scared my 2-yr-old so bad she cried. She'll learn the art of being a fan someday =P

Maybe one or two. Most were movie commercials. My friend had the best quote for the lack of commercials. It's hard to justify $3MM for 30 seconds while you are laying everyone off, freezing salaries and taking away their 401K matches.

Monster.com and CareerBuilder.com were there! I bet they're doing a BOOMING business.

Comcast residents in Tucson got more than they bargained for after Cardinal's scored their last touchdown. Sounds like someone might have hacked the network or there was a MAJOR mixup. Customers saw about 30 seconds of porn. My wife's family called us during the game to see if we saw what they saw, but we didn't. It was only in Tucson and only with people watching the game in standard definition.
Be advised the link is NSFW!!!

Hate to say it but. Any of the 4 San Fransico teams Montana took to the super bowl in the 80's woulda trounced the Steelers in 2009. Also the 49ers went to 5 and won 5. They have never lost a Superbowl.
Decided to add this for the fun of it. ESPN lists the top 10 NFL teams of all time http://espn.go.com/page2/s/list/football/teams/greatest.html .
1.) 1985 Bears
2.) 1972 Dolphins
3.) 1962 Packers
4.) 1991 Redskins (i seriously dont agree with this one)
5.) 1999 Rams (or this one)
6.) 1989 49ers
7.) 1979 Steelers
8.) 1994 49ers
9.) 1996 Packers
10.) 1971 Cowboys
Anyway just messing with ya. It was a good game though. Course Arizona "Holding Called" themselves right out of a Superbowl win. Among other things they did wrong. Grats Steelers even though i wanted them to loose.
Hehe did ya notice the 49ers in the top 10 2 times?

The 91 skins were an awesome team. They beat the hell out of everyone.
I make a prediction now. The lions will have one of the biggest turn around seasons ever next year.

One team you don't see on the list is the 2007-2008 Pats. Guess it's on account for their one giant loss in the season.
