MUST READ: Amichi Rules

Amichi Rules

1. The most important rule is to have fun. What might be fun to one person might not be fun to someone else.

2. Amichi does not attack Amichi. If you have a problem with another guildmember, seek out the Omsbudsman or another officer. It is better to /ignore someone than exchange insults.

3. All members are expected to attend raids if they are online during raid times. Real Life does take precedence, but staying in an XP group and ditching the raid is not acceptable. If you cannot raid, camp out. If you are logging soon, tell an officer so we don't have to ask why you're ditching the raid.

4. All members must claim a Main. This helps us with loot dispersment.

5. Secondary characters (aka Alts) are not allowed to be in other guilds. As part of Amichi, all of your guild efforts should go to Amichi. This also is done to avoid conflicts of interest between Amichi and other guilds.

6. No lameness (e.g. whining, hacking, ninja looting, Kill Stealing) or other acts that would bring shame upon the guild or its members.

7. No begging in guildchat. This includes begging for items, powerleveling, and such. Requests for help are fine, but do not make it excessive, and don't expect your epic 2.0 orb the first week you are in the guild.

8. Do not use excessive profanity, as not everyone likes to hear it. If you decide to swear, swear properly so that the filters will catch it. If you don't like to hear swearing, turn on your profanity filter. Most of our members are adults, and sometimes they like to swear.

9. No /Anon unless approved by guild leader or officer. /Roleplay is perfectly fine.

10. Check the guild forums and events calender frequently. Important votes and information are posted all the time. The guild rules are updated occasionally. Read the Guild Message of the Day (/get) every time you log in for important information. It is your responsibility to stay informed.

11. Guild members will not be forced to group with other guild members outside of raids; the only forced grouping will be on raids. If you have a personal problem with someone, you may request to be moved.

12. Switching mains is frowned upon, but allowable if the member gives advance notice, and the new main meets our current applicant requirements. After switching, the member will be on probation for 12 raids. Switching mains may be done once with no other penalty; if the member wants to switch mains again after that, the member must either get special permission from the guild leaders to switch, or re-apply to the guild with the new character.

13. You cannot box someone else's main on a raid without informing the officer taking raid attendance (usually Kalthanan) that you are doing so. Boxing a main without informing anyone is basically cheating to get your friend more DKP.

14. The officers follow these same rules; they are not above them.

If you have questions, review the rules above then contact the guild leader or an officer.
